Sask First Female Under-16 (U16)
Female Under-16 Program
For female athletes, the Sask First high-performance program begins each February with Under-16 regional camps held across the province, open to all eligible players. From there, the top players are invited to participate in the Sask First Tournament in April, where up to 40 players are selected to attend the summer camp. These players then compete on development teams at the Female U16 AAA Fall Showcase. This process not only provides athletes with the opportunity to compete against their peers but also offers significant exposure, as Sask First events are highly attended by scouts from various elite leagues.
Additionally, the Sask First Program serves as a pathway to the Sask First Under-18 Program and Hockey Canada’s female high-performance program, including its national teams.
