11.4 Maltreatment Investigation Process
Maltreatment Complaint – Independent Third Party (ITP)
When a Maltreatment complaint is submitted to Hockey Saskatchewan or submitted directly to Hockey Canada, the following steps indicate the typical process. The Hockey Canada ITP process may take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks to be completed. Hockey Canada and Hockey Saskatchewan are working on condensing the process and all timelines involved.
All Hockey Saskatchewan investigations are strictly confidential and ITP investigators should not be contacted directly. All questions and concerns regarding the process, timeline and status should only be directed to Hockey Saskatchewan's Coordinator of Discipline, Kim Mackintosh (discipline@hockeysask.ca).
