Overview

The Hockey Saskatchewan Officiating Development Program (ODP) is pleased to announce the Summer Power Skating Sessions for officials aged 15 and older (as of December 31, 2024). These sessions are designed to help officials get conditioned for the upcoming season and further their development with guidance from highly trained power skating coaches.

Locations and Sessions

We are offering sessions in three locations this season: Regina, Saskatoon, and Prince Albert. Each location will host 1-hour ice sessions during August and September.

Regina and Saskatoon

• Prospect Officials (Aged 15-17)
• High-Performance and Senior Officials (Aged 18 and Older)
• 5 sessions available for each group
• Sign up for all 5 sessions: $50.00
• Sign up for an individual session: $12.00

Prince Albert

• Combined Prospect and High-Performance Groups
• 5 sessions available
• Sign up for all 5 sessions: $50.00
• Sign up for an individual session: $12.00

Important Information

• Officials aged 17 and under must attend an on-ice session as part of their certification for the upcoming season. Attending a prospect session will fulfill this requirement.
• To register, please click the link provided and follow the steps to sign up and make your payment online.
• Space is limited in all sessions. If you cannot attend a session you registered for, please contact Trent Cey at TrentC@hockeysask.ca so your spot can be offered to another official.
• These sessions are optional but highly recommended for those interested in furthering their officiating skills.
