St. Walburg bid to host the 2014 Hockey Day in Saskatchewan, a fundraising event that supported local rink improvements while celebrating the game.

About HOCKEY DAY IN SASKATCHEWAN
Hockey Day in Saskatchewan (HDIS) is an annual event since 2009. The goal is to provide the host community with a fundraising platform to assist with the financing of rink improvements or a new facility while celebrating the game we all love! To date, Hockey Day in Saskatchewan has raised over $1.25 million total for fifteen different communities.
