  • Re:        Honouring Kelly McClintock’s 30 Years of Service

It is with great pleasure that we congratulate Kelly McClintock, General Manager of Hockey Saskatchewan, on reaching 30 years of service with our organization.

Kelly’s journey began on September 6, 1994, when he joined the Saskatchewan Amateur Hockey Association (SAHA) as one of 4.5 staff members. Over the past three decades, he has overseen the transformation of the Association into Hockey Saskatchewan, now leading a dedicated team of 12. His unwavering commitment to the growth and development of hockey in our province has been instrumental.

Throughout his tenure, Kelly has navigated many challenges with grace, professionalism, and leadership. Notably, his steady guidance during the Humboldt Broncos tragedy in 2018 and the COVID-19 pandemic underscored the strength of the relationships he has built with the Board, staff, and the broader hockey community.

Kelly’s vision has shaped the development of hockey in Saskatchewan, including the establishment of key leagues such as the Saskatchewan AA Hockey League (SAAHL) and the Saskatchewan Junior Female Hockey League (SJFHL). His advocacy for female hockey has been pivotal in building one of the strongest female hockey programs in the country over the past decade.

As we look to the future, we are grateful to have Kelly’s leadership guiding us through the opportunities and challenges ahead.

On behalf of the Hockey Saskatchewan Board of Directors, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Kelly McClintock on this extraordinary milestone and look forward to many more years of his continued leadership.

Sincerely,

Edward Watson
