REGINA, Sask. – Hockey Saskatchewan is seeking feedback from its membership on the current Under-9 (U9) half-ice hockey model in the province.

The online survey is open to players' parents and guardians, coaches, team managers, Minor Hockey Association (MHA) administrators, officials and others currently involved in or with experience in U9 hockey.

This survey will help Hockey Saskatchewan better understand what is working well, challenges communities are experiencing and how U9, formerly known as Novice, is currently being delivered across the province.

Hockey Saskatchewan is committed to listening to its membership and using this feedback to help support the development of players aged 7 and 8, while creating positive experiences that encourage them to stay involved in the game.

Feedback will help inform future discussions regarding the delivery of U9 hockey, including the current half-ice model and potential opportunities for occasional full-ice play.
