REGINA, Sask. – Hockey Saskatchewan is thrilled to announce the launch of its Provincial Playoffs 50/50, a dynamic initiative coinciding with the pinnacle event in our season - the SGI Canada Provincial Playoffs.

Taking place from January 23 to April 1, 2024, this exciting online raffle serves as a significant fundraising opportunity for Hockey Saskatchewan members, enabling us to further our commitment to nurturing and promoting grassroots initiatives across the province.

Funds raised during the Provincial Playoffs 50/50 will be directed towards the Minor Hockey Association (MHA) Matching Grant Program, benefiting nearly 200 MHAs across the province. In the past two seasons alone, the program has granted over $200,000, supporting the growth and development of hockey at the grassroots level.

Hockey Saskatchewan Provincial Playoffs are a long-standing tradition and one of the most significant annual events for the Association. Approximately 260 teams from Under-13 D to Senior A categories are engaged in spirited competition, battling rivals and creating new ones in their quest for provincial supremacy.

50/50 Highlights:

• Five (5) raffle rounds lasting 13 days, concluding on the Monday corresponding with each playoff round's end.
• Five (5) cash prize rounds corresponding to the final dates of each playoff round.
• Two (2) "Early-bird" draws for every raffle round on Fridays, offering multiple chances to win.
• Ten (10) non-monetary prizes donated by sponsors and Hockey Saskatchewan partners.

Hockey Saskatchewan extends a thank you to our partner, Tap50:50, for their invaluable support in making an online platform for the Provincial Playoffs 50/50.

Appreciation also goes to Hockey Canada, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Manitou Springs, Sherwood Co-op, Saskatchewan Rush and Elk Ridge Resort for their generous donations of "Early-bird" prizes, creating more chances for people to win and support grassroots hockey.

A total of fifteen (15) draws will be held over the raffle rounds with tickets first available starting at 9:00 AM (CST) on Jan. 23, 2024, and the final draw closing at 8:45 PM (SK) on April 1, 2024.

Fans in the province can purchase tickets starting at 9:30 a.m. local time on the day each raffle round opens in packages of five (5) for $10.00, forty (40) for $20.00, one hundred and twenty (120) for $30.00 as well as five hundred (500) for $50.00.
