REGINA, Sask. – Hockey Saskatchewan has issued a memorandum outlining regulation changes approved by the Board of Directors, set to take effect beginning in the 2025-26 season.

- RE: 2025-26 Regulation Changes
The Hockey Saskatchewan Board of Directors recently convened to review all proposed regulation changes. The following changes were approved and will take effect beginning with the 2025-26 season.
A couple of important notes to make sure members are all aware of in these changes are:
- Appeals Submission Process Updated to Online Applications Only
- Removal of Senior AAA from Regulations
- Participant Fee Increase Due to Hockey Canada Adjustments
- Senior Male Categories Restructuring for Provincial Playoffs
- Senior Import Player Limits Updated by Category
- Senior Radius and Population Combination Adjustments
- Redefinition of Import and Removal of Non-Import Term
- Updated Residency Date for AA Hockey Players
- Geographic Subdivision Regulations for AA Hockey Expansion
- Increased Player Radius for Under-9 and Under-11 Carded Teams
- Updated Officiating Development Program Requirements
