Hockey Saskatchewan Completes 112th Annual General Meeting

REGINA, Sask. – Hockey Saskatchewan held its 112th Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually with the Board of Directors as well as Minor Hockey Association (MHA) representatives on August 6, 2024.

The agenda for the AGM included various topics such as acknowledgments, reports, financial statements, organizational procedures, and voting on bylaw amendments.

At the virtual AGM, membership officially elected four Directors to serve as members on the Board heading into the 2024-25 season:

Incoming Directors:

  • Darrell Rinas (Clavet)         3-year term
  • Kayla Shaw (Saskatoon)     3-year term
  • Jeremy Trask (Regina)       3-year term
  • Ryan Hoffman (Lebret)      2-year term

“We are thrilled to welcome four new Board members along with five returning members following last night's Annual General Meeting. I am eager to collaborate with our Board members and witness the remarkable achievements they will accomplish alongside the Hockey Saskatchewan staff in the upcoming seasons,” said Hockey Saskatchewan General Manager Kelly McClintock. “As we continue to progress with the Strategic Plan with our Members, Hockey Saskatchewan will embark on its 113th season, promoting Canada’s beloved winter sport and enhancing recreational opportunities across the province.”

The meeting also marked the culmination of three Board of Directors in Nicole Korpusik (Norquay), Len Thomas (Saskatoon) and Brent Zbaraschuk (Prince Albert) who had successfully completed their terms and did not seek re-election. Hockey Saskatchewan extends its profound appreciation for their services and hope nothing but the best with all their future endeavours.
