REGINA, Sask. – Hockey Saskatchewan has released a memorandum detailing the approved recommendations from the AAA/AA Committee for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

• RE: AAA/AA Recommendations Approved for 2025-26

The following recommendations from the Hockey Saskatchewan AAA/AA Committee were approved by the Hockey Saskatchewan Board of Directors and will come into effect for the 2025-26 hockey season.

Saskatchewan Female Hockey League

• Under-13 AA Division
  • The addition of an Under-13 AA program to Parkland (Melville/Yorkton)

• Under-15 AA Division
  • The addition of two programs
    • Northeast Aces
    • Notre Dame

• Sponsoring Centres for two Regional Programs have changed:
  • Northeast sponsoring centre is now Melfort.
  • Western Prairie sponsoring centre is now Dodsland.

Saskatchewan AA Hockey League

• The cities of Moose Jaw and Prince Albert are now open at the Under-13 AA, Under-15 AA, Under-16 AA and Under-18 AA divisions.
• The Under-13 AA program in Lumsden has been removed.

Hockey Saskatchewan Registration Regulation

• Regulation 6.03.03 a)
  • This regulation will be amended to include an additional section for Male and Female U13 AA, U15 AA, U16 AA and U18 AA only. The date by which a player has moved with his/her parents and the parents have taken up physical residence for these age groups will be July 1^st and continues to reside at said residence for the balance of the season.
  • Within all other divisions of hockey, the date shall remain September 1^st.
