Hockey Saskatchewan MEMO: AAA/AA Recommendations Approved for 2025-26

REGINA, Sask. – Hockey Saskatchewan has released a memorandum detailing the approved recommendations from the AAA/AA Committee for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

- RE: AAA/AA Recommendations Approved for 2025-26
The following recommendations from the Hockey Saskatchewan AAA/AA Committee were approved by the Hockey Saskatchewan Board of Directors and will come into effect for the 2025-26 hockey season.
Saskatchewan Female Hockey League
- Under-13 AA Division
- The addition of an Under-13 AA program to Parkland (Melville/Yorkton)
- Under-15 AA Division
- The addition of two programs
- Northeast Aces
- Notre Dame
- The addition of two programs
- Sponsoring Centres for two Regional Programs have changed:
- Northeast sponsoring centre is now Melfort.
- Western Prairie sponsoring centre is now Dodsland.
Saskatchewan AA Hockey League
- The cities of Moose Jaw and Prince Albert are now open at the Under-13 AA, Under-15 AA, Under-16 AA and Under-18 AA divisions.
- The Under-13 AA program in Lumsden has been removed.
Hockey Saskatchewan Registration Regulation
- Regulation 6.03.03 a)
- This regulation will be amended to include an additional section for Male and Female U13 AA, U15 AA, U16 AA and U18 AA only. The date by which a player has moved with his/her parents and the parents have taken up physical residence for these age groups will be July 1st and continues to reside at said residence for the balance of the season.
- Within all other divisions of hockey, the date shall remain September 1st.
