One of the most respected officials in the game, regardless of gender, Cianna Lieffers made more history as the first woman to officiate at the Centennial Cup, presented by Tim Hortons. The Cudworth, Sask., native – whose résumé in the women’s game includes the 2022 Olympic Winter Games and the gold medal game at the 2025 IIHF Women’s World Championship, among many other major national and international events – was already among the first women to work games in the American Hockey League and Western Hockey League.
