Public Address (PA) Rink Announcements
Hockey Saskatchewan has created a series of pre-recorded Public Address (PA) Rink Announcements for use during games across the province.
These announcements are designed to help promote respect, safety, and enjoyment in hockey by giving Minor Hockey Associations (MHAs) and rinks a ready-to-use resource to play over their PA systems between periods or during stoppages in play or intermissions.
Each message is downloadable in MP3 format and covers common situations and reminders for officials, players, volunteers, and spectators.
Using the PA Rink Announcements
- Play over your rink’s PA system between periods, during stoppages, or pre-game to reinforce positive behaviour and key hockey values.
- Encourage players, coaches, officials, and spectators to listen and reflect on these messages.
- Download the MP3 files directly from this page and integrate them into your PA system for immediate use.
How to Download the Audio Files
To download an audio file from an Internet Browser, open the link and right-click on the audio player. Select “Save Audio As…” from the menu, choose your preferred location, and confirm the download. This will save the MP3 file directly to your device.
