Yorkton Claims Prince Albert Bantam Showcase

The Yorkton Terriers captured the Prince Albert Bantam AAA Showcase title on Monday with a 3-0 victory over the Calgary Northstars. Zach McIntyre led the charge, scoring all three goals in the tournament final, while goaltender Nolan Maier secured a shutout with an outstanding performance.
Yorkton dominated the tournament, finishing with a perfect 6-0 record and outscoring their opponents 32-10. The Terriers advanced past the Humboldt Broncos in the quarter-finals and the Calgary Royals in the semi-finals. Zach McIntyre was pivotal in the playoff rounds, tallying 4 goals and 3 assists for 7 points in 3 games. Additionally, 2002-born Ryder Korczak contributed 1 goal and 3 assists for 4 points in the playoffs.
The Yorkton Terriers now boast a 14-1-3 record this season, holding the top spot in the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League standings.
The 2015 Prince Albert Bantam AAA Showcase was organized by the Prince Albert Minor Hockey Association in partnership with the Prince Albert Raiders.
