REGINA, Sask. - On behalf of the Board of Directors I wish to update the membership on the status of our Mandatory Vaccination Policy introduced in November 2021. After meetings this weekend, the Board has passed a motion that rescinds the Hockey Saskatchewan Mandatory Vaccination Policy in its entirety effective Monday, February 14, 2022.

Hockey Saskatchewan’s top priority has always been and will remain to be the health & safety of all involved with hockey.  We continue to encourage all who are eligible, including hockey participants, to get vaccinated and/or to get their booster, when eligible.

The Board & Staff of Hockey Saskatchewan express our sincere appreciation to all participants and specifically the many volunteers that helped get us all to the point where the need for this policy is no longer present.   Implementing and administering this policy has been exceptionally challenging for all communities.  The effort of all volunteers has been extraordinary, and we thank you.

Hockey Saskatchewan hopes all communities enjoy this exciting time of year and wish the best of luck to all involved with league playoffs, Provincials and all other end of season activities.

Thank you for being the greatest part of Hockey Saskatchewan.

Shaping Character for Life... More Than A Game.

Sincerely,

Timothy Hubic
Hockey Saskatchewan
Chair of the Board
