CALGARY, Alta. – The Western Hockey League today announced Brad McEwen, General Manager and Head Coach of the Swift Current Broncos has been named the recipient of the Lloyd Saunders Memorial Trophy as the WHL Executive of the Year.
This past season, the Swift Current Broncos finished second in the Western Hockey League in points with 97. McEwen was also an assistant coach for the 2001-02 Hershey Cup All Star game in Red Deer, Alberta.

In Swift Current, it’s more of a group management effort. I’d like to thank my support staff for helping to contribute to our success this year,” stated Mr. McEwen.
