2021 marked the 56th NHL Entry Draft. The draft was held July 23rd and 24th remotely, for the second season in a row, due to COVID19 concerns. This year’s draft was delayed one month later than usual due to the later than normal finish to the 2020-21 season. Being Seattle Kraken’s inaugural draft year this season, 32 teams selected a total of 224 players over 7 rounds. We are extremely proud to announce that a total of six (6) Saskatchewan players were chosen, with four (4) of them being Team Saskatchewan alumni.
